ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in suspending supply of kerosene to the petitioners under their hawker licences as illegal and arbitrary.

Respondent No.2 has filed a counter affidavit, wherein he has inter alia stated as under:

"The petitioner Sri Karla Nageswara Rao and other hawkers have been continuing as hawkers and allotment is being made by the Tahsildar, Veerullapadu to them for distribution of kerosene to the cardholders under PDS."

Sri V.H.V.R.R.Swamy, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in view of the above-mentioned stand taken by respondent No.2, the grievance of the petitioners stood redressed and that the writ petition need not be adjudicated on merits.

Having regard to the above facts, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.Nos.8972 & 9388 of 2011 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
