O R D E R

Vide the impugned proceedings NO.02/95(1)/97-Mdk dated 20-11-1997, the Depot Manager of the respondent - Corporation, imposed punishment of deferment of annual grade increment for a period of one year, for cash and ticket irregularities committed by the petitioner. Assailing the same, the present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this court considering identical set of facts and circumstances in W.P.No.16467 of 2011 dated 10-10-2018 disposed of the writ petition with the following direction:

"Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of and the impugned order of punishment of withholding of annual increment for one year with cumulative effect is modified to that of without cumulative effect and without any monetary benefits. It is needless to say that after currency of one year, the withheld increment will be released to the petitioner with all consequential benefits." Sri K.Harinath, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation does not dispute the same.

In view of the same, the present writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the above order in W.P.No.16467 of 2011 dated 10-10-2018. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. ---------------------------------------------- ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI,J DATE:10-12-2018 GS
