THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.6307 of 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.,"), is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.311 of 2018 on the file of Station House Officer, Pet Basheerabad Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Sections U/s 498-A and Sections 3 and 4 of D.P. Act, 1961.

Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing the matter for awhile, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, the Police of Pet Basheerabad Police Station, Cyberabad, are directed to follow the procedure laid by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of UP (referred supra).

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
