ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for the following relief: "..to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the G.O.Ms.No.246 Revenue (Registration.I) Department, dated 27.02.2008 as illegal, arbitrary in so far as asking to produce the original owners for registration as illegal, null and void and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to register the documents submitted by the petitioner and to pass such other appropriate orders as are deemed fit and proper in the interests of justice." When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of subsequent G.O.Ms.928, Revenue (Registration) Department, dated 1.8.2008, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
