HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 23680 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the father of the petitioner was employed with the respondents and he expired on 13.01.2000 while in service and though the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 09.09.2002 seeking compassionate appointment, the same is pending consideration and, therefore, appropriate orders may be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds.

Learned standing counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with the rules.

Having considered the submissions made by the parties, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondents seeking appointment on compassionate grounds within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon

receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, within four weeks thereafter. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 14th December, 2018 cbs
