ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is working as a Helper in Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. According to the petitioner, since long time, he has been suffering with some or the other problems. Initially in the year 2005 his disc was prolapsed and he had to under go treatment in Nizam Institute of Medical Science (NIMS), Hyderabad. Thereafter on 31.03.2010 he met with an accident where, his left leg was fractured. Again on 03.05.2010 while the petitioner was traveling in a car, he met with an accident and his head was injured; he received two fractures on left leg and he slipped into Coma and he had to under go long treatment after surgery. The petitioner was advised not to do heavy work. Having regard to the advise given to the petitioner, he requested to assign light duties and accordingly vide proceedings dated 27.11.

2014 he was given out of designated duties for three months and subsequently, it was extended. The period of out of designated duty has expired. However, since petitioner cannot discharge the regular duties, he has submitted a representation on 14.04.2015 and 17.10.2015 to assign similar duties for some more time. But so far no orders are passed on the said representations. Hence, this writ petition.

3. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner requested for disposal of the writ petition, with direction to pass orders on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the fact that the representations submitted by the petitioner are pending, without expressing any opinion on merits the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APSRTC, Hyderabad,(1st respondent) to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 14.04.2015 and 17.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
