ORDER

The petitioners, who are A1 and A2 in Cr.No.68 of 2015 of V. Madugula Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence under Section 20 (b) read with Section 8 (c ) of NDPS Act, filed this petition under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail.

2. Heard both sides and perused the material on record.

3. It is alleged that on 09.06.2015, on information, the Sub-Inspector of Police along with his staff went to Satyavaram Village and found three persons standing in the field with plastic gunny bags and on seeing them, they tried to escape from that place, but on interrogation, they found in possession of 160 Kgs of ganja for selling the same at higher rate. Thereafter, the police seized the same under the cover of panchanama.

4. Since the petitioners are in possession of huge quantity of ganja and in view of the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to them.
