THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 23251 of 2019 ORDER:

Petitioner asserts that her vehicle bearing No. TS 31 T 2708 was seized by the Station House Officer, Achampet Excise Police Station, Nagarkurnool District, on the ground of illegal transportation of Jaggery and Alam.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the nature of grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application before the jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner under Section 34 of the Telangana Excise Act, 1968, seeking release of the subject vehicle. Thereupon, the said authority shall consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of one (1) week thereafter.

Subject to the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
