Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri N. Manohar Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondent No.4.

Petitioners presented rectification deed before the Sub Registrar, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar District, reqesting to admit the same to rectify the mistakes in the form of not including the structures in the earlier document. They allege that though the document was received by the Sub Registrar, he is neither assigning document number nor is returning the document for any reason, but kept as it is without any justification. Having waited for a considerable time, on 23.09.2019, petitioners submitted a representation, which was acknowledged by the Sub Registrar on 24.09.2019, but till date no further steps are taken. 3.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Sub Registrar to receive the rectification deed, acknowledged by him, and process the same in accordance with the Registration Act, 1908, the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and the Rules made thereunder and furnish his decision to the petitioners. If the Sub Registrar is in agreement to register the rectification deed, he shall register and release the same and if he is not in agreement to register the same, he shall assign due reasons in support of his decision and communicate the same to the petitioners. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
