Mr. M. Sivananda Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will be satisfied if they are allowed to make an application to the concerned authority for effecting entries in the Basic Value Register in respect of the land in Survey No. 683 measuring Acs.17.26 cents of Kopparti village, C.K. Dinne Mandal, Kadapa District, with a further direction to the concerned authority to act on their application within time frame.

The writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the petitioners to make an application for effecting entries in the Basic Value Register as prayed for in the writ petition, to the concerned authority within a period of four weeks from today. If any such application is made, the concerned authority shall consider the same on merits, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of presentation of such application. It is open to the petitioners to place on record the judgment of the Civil Court in O.S. No. 181 of 2008 and other supporting material in support of their prayer in the application. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed. No costs.
