(Per Sanjay Kumar, J) Challenge in this Writ Petition, as originally framed, was to the action of the respondents, viz., the State of Telangana and the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, in not treating the petitioner as a local candidate of Telangana / Osmania University area, whereby her candidature could be considered as such for admission in MBBS course during the academic year 2018-19.

It appears that the prayer in the Writ Petition was thereafter amended whereby the petitioner also laid a challenge to G.O.Ms.No.66, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (C1) Department, dated 29.7.2015. No interim orders were passed in this Writ Petition. It is therefore too late in the day for the petitioner to now seek any relief in relation to the academic year 2018-19 as she cannot at this late stage be admitted to MBBS course in relation to that academic year.

Sri D.Ramakrishna, learned counsel for the petitioner, would however contend that the cause of action still survives as the petitioner would have the same difficulty if she seeks admission for the academic year 2019-20. In that view of the matter, we dismiss this Writ Petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh case, if she so chooses, in relation to the academic year 2019-20. She is also at liberty to once again lay a challenge to G.O.Ms.No.66, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (C1) Department, dated 29.7.2015.

Subject to the above liberty, this Writ Petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
