The Court made the following:

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.82 of 2015 ORDER:

This Court directed the Government of State of Telangana, to forthwith

process the application of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2010, and forward the same to the Government of India along with the recommendations. After the State Government forwards the application with recommendations, the Government of India was directed to process the same and take appropriate decision as warranted by law, within a period of four weeks.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned Standing counsel representing the Government of India produced proceedings of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Freedom Fighters Division dated 10.09.2015 where under on consideration of the State Government proposals, the claim of the petitioner for grant of pension under Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980 was rejected.

3. In view of the orders passed by the Government of India, it cannot be said that respondents have not complied with the directions of this Court.

4. Hence, the contempt case is closed. However, it is needless to observe that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, he can avail the remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
