THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.6751 of 2008 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the proceedings dated 22.02.2008 issued by the third respondent asking the petitioner to surrender/deliver possession of the subject land to the Enquiry Officer/Deputy Tahsildar within thirty days. Thereafter, the Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Repeal Act came into force with effect from 27.03.2008. Possession of the land was not taken as on the date of coming into force of the Repeal Act.

In view of the above, the proceedings in File No.H2/13244/76, dated 22.02.2008, stood abated. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, allowed.
