THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6554 of 2022 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 437 & 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,' 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C.") seeking regular bail to the petitioner/Accused in Crime No.340 of 2022 on the file of Police Station Shankarpally, Cyberabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 IPC.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State and perused the record. 3.

The petitioner is alleged to have snatched gold chain from a woman, who is aged about 90 years. The son of the said woman filed complaint against this petitioner stating that the petitioner had snatched gold chain from his mother.

The petitioner was remanded to judicial custody on 04.07.2022. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and there are no other criminal antecedents as far as the petitioner is concerned and the petitioner is falsely implicated. 6.

As seen from the remand report, 15 witnesses have been examined. CCTV footage was collected and also the chain was seized at the instance of this petitioner.

Since the investigation is almost complete, the petitioner, who is a student, can be granted bail subject to the following conditions. i. The petitioner /Accused is directed to be released on bail on executing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chevella, Ranga Reddy District.

ii. On such release, the petitioner/Accused shall appear before the concerned Station House Officer on every Sunday between 10.30 a.m. and 01.00 p.m. for a period of eight weeks, for the purpose of investigation.

iii. The Petitioner/Accused shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 437 (3) of Cr.P.C. 8.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
