In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 2 to 5 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 487 of 2013 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate of I Class at Kamareddy, Nizamabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 10-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Kamareddy Town Police Station, Kamareddy District, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 31-07-2017 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 487 of 2013, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
