ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and perused the record. 2.

Aggrieved by the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer dated 28.4.2018 in File No.D/2020/2017 directing the Tahsildar, Chandurthi mandal to rectify the entries in the revenue records and enter the name of appellant therein (3rd respondent herein), petitioners preferred revision before the 2nd respondentJoint Collector. On entertaining revision, the Joint Collector issued notice dated 21.8.2018, fixing the date of hearing on 29.9.2018. According to learned counsel for petitioner, on 29.9.2018 no hearing took place and the matter was adjourned and so far no communication is received. The notice dated 21.8.2018 is filed as Ex.P2 at page 13 of the material paper book. 3.

Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-revisional authority to expedite the hearing of the revision and by affording due opportunity to the parties, shall dispose of the revision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
