Smt.C.(G) Pullamma v. The Apsrtc,. Rep.By Its Managing Director
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No.8859 of 2012 Between:
Smt. C.(G) Pullamma ... Petitioner And The APSRTC, rep. by its Managing Director Musheerabad, Hyderad & others ... Respondents * * * HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No.8859 of 2012 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) in not considering the petitioner's case for appointment on compassionate grounds in any suitable post.
2. In WP MP No.11183 of 2012 filed herein, this Court, by order dated 30.03.2012, directed the respondent-APSRTC to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in any suitable post within a time frame. The respondents-APSRTC filed WV MP No.3790 of 2012 to vacate the said order. However, as the order passed by this Court did not visit the respondent-APSRTC with any positive mandate and it was only required to consider the case of the petitioner, this Court is at a loss to understand as to why a vacate petition has been filed. It is for the respondent-APSRTC to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with relevant norms. In that
view of the matter, no interference is called for with the interim order. As the time stipulated has already expired, the respondents are directed to comply with the order dated 30.03.2012 within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. In the light of the aforestated direction, both the learned counsel state that nothing survives in the main writ petition.
3. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the above order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J BSS HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No.8859 of 2012
