HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.17764 of 2016 ORDER:

1. The petitioner's father worked as an attender in the 2nd respondent's office and he died due to heart-attack on 08.12.2014. The petitioner's father left behind him the petitioner, his younger sister aged about 15 years and his mother aged about 40 years. The petitioner is the only eligible person who can be appointed on compassionate grounds. He submitted an application on 16.02.2015 for appointment on compassionate grounds. The 2nd respondent forwarded the said application on the same day to the 1st respondent and when no action was taken by the 1st respondent, the present writ petition is filed. 2 . Though the 1st respondent was served consequent to the notice before admission ordered by this Court on 07.06.2016, none appeared for the 1st respondent.

3. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.02.2015 for appointment on compassionate grounds, which was forwarded by the 2nd respondent on the same day and received by the 1st respondent on 23.04.2015, and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
