The case of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent filed an appeal before the Joint Collector-3rd respondent against the order dated 07.04.2016 in Appeal Case No.47/2014 vide R.C.No.5236/14-A and the same is not being disposed of. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. It is to be seen that though it is termed as an Appeal, only Revision lies against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer under Section 5 of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971.

In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the Revision filed by the 4th respondent in accordance with law after issuing notice to the 4th respondent as well as affected parties, if any.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of No costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 03.04.2017 dv
