THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.7413 & 3877 OF 2007 COMMON ORDER :
These writ petitions came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not constructing/ allotting houses to the eligible members of the petitionerssociety, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, would submit that though a representation was made by some of the members of the Mahila Mandali to the Commissioner, GHMC and also to the District Collector for allotment of the land to the petitioners, the said representation is still pending consideration. Hence, seeks a direction to the authorities to deal with the representation, in accordance with law.

Without going into merits of the case and having regard to the fact that 210 eligible members of the petitioners-society were already allotted the houses, the petitioners, who were unsuccessful in getting houses, shall pursue their remedies, in accordance with law. 4.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
5.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
