THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.20235 of 2018 ORDER :

Petitioner is working as Assistant Archivist. Petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration of her representation stated to have been filed for grant of promotion. It is the service grievance of an employee working in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Being a service grievance petitioner has to invoke the jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. As held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar Vs Union of India1, the Tribunal being the Court of first instance, the petitioner cannot directly institute the writ petition in this Court.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
