Heard.
The petitioner complains that the investigation in Cr.No.65 of 2014 is not being taken up by the 4th respondent.
Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which state that earlier the petitioner had lodged a complaint against her husband, which was registered as Cr.No.376 of 2002 and the petitioner's husband was convicted in C.C.No.139 of 2003 by the II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Tirupathi. Thereafter, the petitioner and her husband filed Crl.R.C.M.P.No.1549 of 2010 in Crl.R.C.No.565 of 2009 for compounding of the offences on the basis of the compromise, which was allowed by this Court on 10-06-2010. Thereafter, the petitioner again filed a private complaint against her husband and another. Based on which, a case in Cr.No.65 of 2014 was registered. To the extent of investigation, five witnesses were already examined.
It is stated that after completion of investigation, appropriate final report would be filed as early as possible. In view of the said instructions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to complete the investigation expeditiously and file appropriate final report before the jurisdictional court. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.
