THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.30923 OF 2017 ORDER:

1.

The grievance of the petitioner is that she is the enjoydar of land to an extent of Acs.3.40 cents situated at Survey No.211/4 of Pinapalli Village, Yetakapa Mandal, East Godavari District. Earlier her name was reflected in the enjoydar's column, but subsequently, the petitioner's name is changed and the name of one Kothapalli Chinna Rosaiah is shown in the enjoydar's column. She made an application under the Right to Information Act before the fourth respondent, who issued endorsement dated 18.08.2017 informing that there is no record available as to how the name of Kothapalli Chinna Rosaiah is shown in the revenue records. Further, the said Kothapalli Chinna Rosaiah died on 26.07.2010. Immediately thereafter, the petitioner filed a representation requesting to rectify the revenue records as she intends to apply bank loan for agricultural purpose but till date no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition. 2.

It appears from the endorsement that erroneously some wrong entry is made. Be that as is may, since there is a wrong entry made in the revenue records, the petitioner has to apply for correction of the wrong entries. The Government of Andhra Pradesh evolved system of receiving applications for correction of revenue records for various purposes only through online web portal and no individual representations submitted by any person in physical form are processed. Apparently, so far the application of the petitioner is not submitted through online web portal.

Therefore, the action of the Tahsildar in not considering the representation of the petitioner cannot be faulted. 3.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to make such application afresh through online web portal, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Since the petitioner expresses urgency to obtain bank loan for agricultural purposes, the Tahsildar shall process the said application and take a decision by following due process of law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ____________________ (P.NAVEEN RAO, J) 13th September 2017 RRB
