HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.20233 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in not filing charge sheet pursuant to Crime No.53/2017, on the file of the Amarapuram Police Station. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that after completion of investigation the case was charge sheeted on 15.06.2018 before the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Madakasira, and that the same is yet to be numbered as C.C. On the last occasion, this Court granted time to the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for getting the Charge Sheet numbered. But, again when the matter is listed today, learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks time.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, since it is stated that charge sheet was already filed, the concerned Investigation Officer is directed to take necessary steps for getting the Charge Sheet numbered and inform the same to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
