Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M.V.Suresh, learned counsel for respondents.

Petitioner had filed appeal to 1st respondent on 24-10-2016 challenging his non-selection to the post of Assistant General Manager (Accounts) in the 1st respondent-organization as per para-12 of the Schedule VI read with Regulation 16 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India Staff (Officers and other Employees) Regulations, 2016. Petitioner contends that the said appeal is pending before 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders thereon.

Sri M.V.Suresh, learned counsel for the respondents states that 2nd respondent will consider the appeal and pass appropriate orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. 4.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. No costs.
