CVNR, J & GSP, J WP 4573/2006 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more especially one in the nature of Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to and connected with the orders passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, Hyderabad, passed in O.A.No. 693 of 2003 dated 13-4-2004 and quash or set aside the same; and consequently direct the respondents herein to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service, back wages and with all other attendant benefits..."

Mr. N. Mukunda Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, has filed a Memo, dt.09.8.2017, stating that the petitioner has taken away the brief from him on 11.2.2013. He has filed a copy of the acknowledgement in proof of the petitioner taking away the brief. Despite the fact that the petitioner has taken away the case from his counsel more than four years back, he has not made any alternative arrangement. Therefore, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this case.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.5679 of 2006 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
