THE HON'BLE JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.6793 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners/A2 and A3 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1714 of 2017 on the file of the II Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-XIX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally at Miyapur, Cyberabad, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, against them.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

Though the petitioners have raised several grounds to quash the proceedings in the aforesaid case, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to dispense with the appearance of the petitioners/A2 and A3 in the aforesaid case before the trial Court. 4.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioners is not in dispute, their presence in the above case may not be necessary on every date of adjournment. 5.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the appearance of the petitioners/A2 and A3 in C.C.No.1714 of 2017 on the file of the II Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-XIX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally at Miyapur, Cyberabad, is dispensed with, except on the dates whenever their presence is required by the trial Court and they shall be represented by their counsel.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 7.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
