Consequent to initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner, he was removed from service by order dated 18.07.2017. Aggrieved thereby, he preferred appeal before the Divisional Manager. The said appeal was rejected by order dated 16.08.2017 and thereafter, petitioner preferred revision before the Regional Manager. Alleging inaction on the said revision, this Writ Petition is filed.

Photocopy of the revision is filed as Ex.P1 at page No.7 of the material papers. There is an endorsement of the receipt of the said revision on 16.08.2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the revision is still pending.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the revisional authority to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in the revision and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision and communicate the said decision to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
