O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioner is that even though he got issued Legal Notice dated 30.07.2016 through his Advocate to the 2nd respondent and also made a representation on 01.08.2016 to the 3rd respondent requesting them to pay compensation for his property in an extent of 300 square yards of land in Sy.No.164/5B, situated in Appannapalem village, Vepagunta, Visakhapatnam District which was acquired by them without following the due procedure contemplated under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, but so far, neither his legal notice / representation has been considered nor any compensation has been paid.

The learned Standing Counsel for Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation appearing for the 2nd respondent and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the 3rd respondent have submitted that the official respondents will consider the petitioner's case within the time that may be stipulated by

this Court.

Keeping in view the averments made in the writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the Legal Notice dated 30.07.2016 and the representation dated 01.08.2016 said to have been made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision that may be taken to the petitioner within a period of one week thereafter. Till such time, Status Quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained. No order as to costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
