This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.2 to 5 under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in Crime No.63 of 2012 of Women Police Station, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A r/w 34 I.P.C.

2) It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor that the parties compromised in the above crime and the compromise was recorded before the Lok Adalat and the present proceedings sought for against the F.I.R no way survives and as such the petition becomes infructuous.

3) In the result, the petition is dismissed as infructuous.
