Zaheda Begum, v. Prl.Secy., Home Dept., State Of T.S.,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.20337 OF 2018 O R D E R :
This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 5th respondents in interfering with the peaceful possession of the petitioner's property by forcibly taking the petitioner to the police station and detaining the petitioner for hours together and also forcing the petitioner to comply their illegal demands without there being any complaint or case registered against the petitioner. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that on the complaint of one Mr.Sajid Ali, the respondent police inspected the subject house and on enquiry since it is found that the dispute of the complainant as well as writ petitioner is purely civil in nature and both are claiming rights and title over the subject house, the respondent police have advised the complainant to seek his redressal in a competent court of law, but no action is taken on it, till date. He also submits that the respondent police never summoned the petitioner to the police station nor interfered with the subject property.
Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
