This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of a writ of certiorari calling for records relating to the impugned order dated 28.12.2006 made in M.P. No.34/2003, of the Court of the Presiding Officer, Labour Court-I, A.P., Hyderabad, allowing the petition and directing the petitioners herein to pay the 1st respondent the wages from 10.07.1999 to 06.01.2003; and quash the same as being bad, illegal, without jurisdiction and invalid."

At the hearing, Ms. T.V. Sudha, learned counsel representing Mr. V. Narasimha Goud, learned counsel for respondent No.1, submitted that her client has passed away in the year 2008 itself, that the said fact was brought to the notice of the petitioners by filing a Memo in support of the same and that the legal representatives of respondent No.1 have not been brought on record. This submission is not disputed by Mr. N. Praveen Reddy, learned counsel representing Mr. N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the petitioners.

With the death of respondent No.1, who is the contesting respondent, and in the absence of his legal representatives being brought on record, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order dt.05.7.2007 passed in W.P.M.P.
