The petitioner approached the Court seeking tI prayer as under:

"to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent herein in not correcting the date of birth as 08.10.1977 with that of existing wrong date oF birth 11.09.1973 and not issuing passport as illegal and arbitrary against the principles of natural justice and to pass such other order or orders."

It is represented by Mr Gadi Praveen Kumar, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India on obtaining instructions that the file of the petitioner has been closed and thereafter, the petitioner has not approached the Regional Passport Officer, Secunderabad seeking correction of date of birth as O8.LO.L977, in the petitioner passport bearing No.AO36O385.

Bringing the said submission on record, this wrat petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs-
