ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "..to issue a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declare the action of the respondents in imposing penal charges by collecting peak demand rates without any notice and opportunity to the petitioner and demanding peak demand rate of Rs.1,41,889/- and peak energy rate Rs.6,249/- apart from the regular power consumption charges Rs.2,03,227/- as highly arbitrary illegal, unjust and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to collect only regular power consumption charges from the petitioner."

At the hearing, Ms.D.V.Vidyullatha, learned counsel, representing Sri P.Venkat Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of this submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.49818 of 2012 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
