THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.2256 OF 2016 ORDER:

Alleging willful disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 08.07.2016 passed in W.P.No.21621 of 2016, the present Contempt Case is filed.

Heard both sides.

The operative portion of the order dated 08.07.2016 reads thus:

" .... the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent concerned to complete the enquiry and take necessary action against the Secretary of the Santhanuthalapadu Grampanchayat after considering the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The enquiry officer shall follow the procedure prescribed and shall provide opportunity to the Secretary as needed. ...."

Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj filed a counter affidavit stating that a report was submitted to the Commissioner, PR & RD, A.P., Vijayawada, for taking necessary disciplinary action against N.Sydulu, Panchayat Secretary, Grade-I of Santhanuthalapadu, as directed by this Court on 08.07.2016. Inasmuch as the order of this Court dated 08.07.2016 has been complied with, the Contempt Case is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending in the contempt case, if any, shall stand closed.
