UMA DEVI Writ Petition No. 4366 of 2001 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) By Section 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Private Aided Educational Institutions Employees (Regulation of Pay) Act, 2005 (hereinafter called "the 2005 Act"), the Andhra Pradesh Private Aided Educational Staff (Regulation of Pay) Act, 2000 was repealed.

As we have, in our order in W.P. No. 3460 of 2010 and batch dated 23.8.2017, held the 2005 Act, except in so far as it related to the aspect of pension, unconstitutional following the judgment of a Division Bench of this Court in Y. Sidda Reddy vs. Government of Andhra Pradesh & Others1, the cause in the writ petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court.

The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
