HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.23465 of 2019 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation dt.04.09.2019 made by the petitioner to respondent No.5, which is stated to be forwarded to respondent No.2, being the Council to grant any concession in relation to the Regulations regarding the Academic Calendar and the period for completing the courses. Sri Ch. Jagannadha Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Osmania University, takes notice on behalf of Osmania University and submits that though the petitioner joined in E.C.E. course, he could not complete the same even after 8 years period prescribed for any student to complete the academic course and is seeking extension of time for completing the course, which is contrary to the Rules and Regulations of the respondent University.
In view of the said submission, without expressing any opinion thereof, since the petitioner made a representation dt.04.09.2019 to respondent No.5, the same shall be forwarded to respondent No.2, if not already done, who inturn, shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
