Questioning the action of respondents 2 and 3 in not registering the FIR pursuant to the complaint, dated 06.09.2019, lodged by the petitioner against respondent 4 and his associates, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

By order dated 19.11.2019, this Court directed respondent 2 to look into the complaint of the petitioner and verify as to why respondent 3 has not taken any action thereon, and thereby, called for a counteraffidavit to be filed by respondent 2. In pursuance thereof, a counteraffidavit, sworn to by respondent 2, is placed before this Court today, along with a copy of the FIR.

By the aforestated counter, respondent 2 stated that respondent 3 upon receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, and after obtaining permission for the learned XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered FIR No.2118 of 2019, dated 06.12.2019, for the offence punishable under Section 506 IPC against respondent 4 and others and that the matter is being investigated into. 5.
Having regard to the said assertion made by respondent 2 in the counter that FIR has been registered, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition, since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
