The grievance of the petitioners in this case is that their representation dated 28.6.2016, whereby they sought issuance of Occupancy Rights Certificate in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.29.11 guntas in Sy.No.44 and Ac.8.28 guntas in Sy.No.127 of Panuyala Village, Hatnoor Mandal, Medak District, is still pending consideration.

Despite the matter being adjourned from time to time since 13.4.2017, when notice before admission was ordered, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent authorities.

This Court sees no purpose served in keeping the Writ Petition pending as it is for the authorities concerned to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' representation dated 28.6.2016, if not already disposed of, in the first instance. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Medak Division, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' representation dated 28.6.2016, if not already taken. In the event, the petitioners' representation has already been disposed of on merits, the decision thereon shall be communicated to them afresh. This exercise, one way or the other, shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
