By proceedings Rc.No.E3/1496/2009-5, dated Nil-08-2016, the assignment granted in favour of late husband of petitioner, Kamararapu Rajamallu, to an extent of Ac.3.20 guntas in Sy.No.17 of Laxmidevipalli village, Kothagudem mandal, was cancelled. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred revision on 21.09.2019, acknowledged by the Office of the revisional authority on 26.09.2019.

According to learned counsel for petitioner, husband of the petitioner died long ago and the proceedings were issued against dead person even though the name of petitioner is reflected in the revenue records; that extent of land assigned was Ac.4.31 guntas; that proceedings of the District Collector were not communicated to the petitioner; that only after applying for certified copy, and after pursuing, the certified copy was furnished, and thereafter revision was filed. Petitioner claimed to be in possession of subject land as on today and seeks to continuous possession pending consideration of the revision.

The contentions urged in the Writ Petition are also urged in the revision by the petitioner against the decision of the District Collector and the said revision is pending. Court is not inclined to express any opinion on the grounds urged by the petitioner in this Writ Petition. Thus, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the revisional authority to consider the revision and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The

revisional authority is also directed to consider the interlocutory application filed by the petitioner, pending disposal of the revision, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
