O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief:

"To issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declare the action of the respondents in not forwarding proposal along with the inspection report in pursuance of the Letter Rc.No. B9(A2)/154/2014 dt.27-82014 issued by the 2nd respondent as arbitrary, illegal and against the principles of natural justice and contrary to the G.O.Rt.No.785 dt.18-12-2012 issued by the 1st respondent."

2. Heard Sri D.L.Pandu, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri B.Narayana Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.4.

3. Petitioner is a Secretary for the Society for Peace Rural Education and Awareness Development.

Petitioner submitted proposals before the third respondent/Deputy Director of Social Welfare, Kurnool, Kurnool District, on 31.07.2014 for (1) Running of maintenance of library in rented building (ii) Running of Maintenance of Balwadi/Creche Centre and (iii) Running of Maintenance of Craft Centre in Kurnool. The second respondent/Collector and District Magistrate, Kurnool, Kurnool District appointed (i) The Deputy Director (Social Welfare), Kurnool and (ii) The Project Officer, Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA), Kurnool, vide Letter Rc.No.B9(A2)/154/2014 dated 27.08.2014 for joint inspection.

4. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that inspection was already conducted and the inspection team also submitted its report to the District Collector and despite receipt of the said report, the same is not being forwarded to the concerned authorities.

5. Today, when the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned

Government Pleader that now the report is pending before the District Collector, Kurnool, Kurnool District/second respondent herein and the same will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.

6. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent/ Collector and District Magistrate, Kurnool, Kurnool District to forward the proposals along with the report to the first respondent-Government for transmission of the same to the fourth respondent/Union of India, for necessary action, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
