HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5294 OF 2015 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, petitioner/Accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.423 of 2014 on the file of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC, Sections 3 and 4 DP Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 21.7..2018 of SubInspector of Police, Jammikunta Police Station, Karimnagar District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 22.7.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.423 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
