The petitioner challenges the action of the respondents in denying electricity connection to her house bearing No.2-3-691/20/21, Venkateshwaranagar, Amberpet, Hyderabad. It is her case that she made an Online application on 21.04.2019 requesting to provide electricity connection, and she also produced relevant documents viz., Registered Sale Deed dated 08.12.1970, Registered Will Deed dated 26.03.1994, Household and Aadhar Cards etc., through letter dated 13.07.2019 as per the Order dated 08.07.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.13215 of 2019, however, she was not provided with electricity connection till date.

Heard Sri Bethi Venkateshwarlu, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 4. Though a detailed counter affidavit is filed by the respondents, admittedly, as on date, the application of the petitioner for electricity connection has not been processed by the respondents, and no communication as such was issued to the petitioner stating reasons for denying electricity connection. In those circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to process the application along with necessary documents submitted by the petitioner, and communicate to the petitioner whether or not electricity connection can be provided, and in case electricity connection cannot be provided, the reasons therefor. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
