Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and perused the record.

According to petitioners, large extents of lands in Sy.Nos.297/1, 297/2, 298/1 (part) of Gudimalkapur village, Asifnagar mandal, Hyderabad district held by one late Rahmath Khatoon and the legal heirs of said Rahmath Khatoon filed declarations under Section 6(1) of Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976. Notification under Section 10(3) was issued on 21.4.2004 including notice under Section 10(5) of the Act. 3.
Petitioners claims to be members of M/s Ayodya Nagar Mutually Aided Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., who purchased land to an extent of Ac.25-00 guntas in Sy.Nos.297/1/1, 297/2/1, 297/3/1, 298/1, 294/1 situated at Gudimalkapur village from the original owners prior to commencement of Urban Land Ceiling Act. The society, in turn allotted the land to its members and thereafter it came to light that the said land was declared as surplus land as per the notification dated 21.4.2004, therefore society applied for regularisation of said extent of land owned by individual members in accordance with the orders of the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.455 Revenue (UC.I) Department dated 29.7.2002. This writ petition is filed alleging that applications filed by the petitioners in the year 2005 are yet to be acted upon and no decision is being taken.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for Respondents fairly submits that the applications are not yet disposed of and if reasonable time is granted, appropriate orders would be passed. 5.
In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector to examine the claims of the petitioners as per the applications submitted by them in the year 2005 and pass appropriate orders, as per law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
