HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.11196 of 2015 O R D E R :

The petitioner, who is accused in Crime No.335 of 2015 of Amalapuram Town Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354-D, 509, 506 I.P.C. and Section 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000-2008, filed this petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C., seeking anticipatory bail. It is alleged in the complaint that the de facto-complainant is working in customer service wing of BSNL office of Amalapuram. While so, on 21-09-2015 at about 11.30 AM, the de factocomplainant received a phone call from an unknown person, who abused her in filthy language and insisted her to fulfil her sexual lust and threatened her to spoil her life, if she does not agree for the same by exploring the false things against her and he further threatened to pour acid on her and kill her.

When she reported the matter to JTO, who is in duty, he verified the call list and found that the said call was received from the mobile bearing No.8500646899 and it is found that the said number stood in the name of one Dommeti Satyanarayana, (DSN), the petitioner herein, who is working in the same office. The de facto-complainant stated that the petitioner herein used to right letters to the address of one Sita, who is working as Sweeper in the same office to blackmail her. The said report was registered as a case in F.I.R.No.335 of 2015 of Amalapuram Town Police Station for the offences stated supra against the petitioner herein. In view of the serious allegations made in the complaint against the petitioner-accused, this Court in not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
