Petitioner is the Convention of Baptist Church of North Circles, represented by Sri Gotukula Sundar Raju claiming to be the president. According to the deponent a new governing body came into existence. As a consequence, the convenor, election committee informed the District Registrar, Kakinada, vide his letter dated 31.05.2017 the composition of new governing body of the petitioner. But the District Registrar, has not given any acknowledgement of the information furnished to him and has not considered the representation made on 08.06.2017. 3.

On instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader, submits that there is no proof of submission of the letter with the District Registrar and therefore, petitioner cannot blame the Registrar. Learned Assistant Government Pleader also sought to contend that there are inter se disputes among the members of the petitioner and several complaints were received by the District Registrar.

On a specific question posed, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that there is no proof of submission of such application and those letters were given in person. 5.

Since there is no proof available with the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government pleader, on instructions, specifically asserts that no such letter was furnished to the 3rd respondent, no direction as sought for can be granted at this stage.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit the list of governing body as elected by the members of the petitioner to the District Registrar, Kakinada, East Godavari District. It is needless to observe that as and when such list is furnished the District Registrar shall act, as required by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
