CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.8727 of 2003 ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

".....to issue a Writ of Mandamus/Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the O.A.No.2989 of 2002, dated 15.03.2002 and set aside the same by declaring the action of the respondents for not bringing the rival contentions of the other applicants who filed O.As., which are pending for disposal of the batch petitions before the A.P.

Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad and to resolve the issue in question once for all as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law, much less violative of Article 14, 16, 21 and 309 of the Constitution of India, in the interest of justice by declaring that a degree qualification is must for promotion to the post of Asst. B.C. Welfare Officers which is a Gazetted one in the interest of justice ....." 2.

At the hearing, Ms. G. Sumitra, representing Sri M.V. Rajaram, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 3.

In the light of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of without adjudicating on merits. As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, WPMP.No.11247 of 2003 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
