THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.1166 OF 2016 ORDER:

The Contempt Case is filed for disobedience of the order dated 01.04.2016, passed by this Court in W.P.No.10906 of 2016. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that though the representation of the petitioner with respect to the allegations made against the private respondent were received and no formal orders were passed, but, however, necessary action has been taken.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on 15.02.2016, the 4th respondent had filed a civil suit and obtained injunction orders. As can be seen from the Contempt Case, the order complained of non compliance is dated 01.04.2016. Obviously, no action is initiated against the 4th respondent on account of the civil suit filed and it is pending. However, recording the submissions made on behalf of the Gram Panchayat that necessary steps will be taken in the civil suit to contest, the contempt case is required to be closed.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed.
