HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P No.9563 of 2015 IN/ AND Crl.P. No.9527 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings of (wrongly numbered as) PRC No.16 of 2015 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, even the alleged offence under Section 354 IPC along with other offences, occurred on 13.11.2014 which is subsequent to the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013 w.e.f 03.12.2013 and also schedule in making the amendment now otherwise also punishable under Sections 382, 420, 406, 506, 498-A, 448 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 are also triable by Magistrate.

2) Pending disposal of the Criminal Petition, the 2nd respondent -de facto complainant and petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 4 are present and filed a joint memo in Crl.P.M.P. No.9563 of 2015 with memorandum of compromise and affidavit of de facto complainant stating that they have settled the matter out of Court at the intervention of elders for drowning the differences as the de facto complainant has agreed to withdraw the DVC No.59 of 2015 and M.C No.35 of 2015 and thereby, sought permission to compound the offences.

3) Perused.

4) Having regard to the above, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C, permission is accorded, the Crl.P.M.P. No.9563 of 2015 is ordered and the offences supra are compounded.

5) Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the

proceedings relating to PRC No.16 of 2015 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, is quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 4, if any, shall stand cancelled.

6) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
