THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.17213 of 2012 ORDER:

This writ petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenges the order of cancellation of licence of the petitioner, passed by the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada vide proceedings dated 08.06.2012.

This Court while admitting the writ petition on 13.06.2012 granted interim suspension of the impugned order in W.P.M.P.No.22072 of 2012 initially for a period of two weeks, thereafter extended the same until further orders on 28.06.2012.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequently, the respondent granted licence in favour of the petitioner for four years and thereafter, when he refused to grant renewal, petitioner filed W.P.No.36655 of 2016 and this Court granted interim order in the said matter. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives. The said statement is placed on record.

In view of the developments including the pendency of the writ petition questioning the action of the respondent in not renewing the licence and as the impugned order lost its

significance in view of later order, granting licence in favour of the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands closed. It is open to the petitioner to agitate his claim in the pending writ petition. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
